We haven't been doing much traveling lately.  Sue took a trip to Las Vegas in March to dog sit for Mark and Marisa.  The flight was pretty good and the fact that we only had to drive to Stockton was even better.  Allegiant airlines has one flight a day to Vegas.

 

The weather was perect while I was there.  The kids left for California to attend a wedding.  I settled in with the dogs.  I read a couple books and watched a lot of television.  I must admit that I didn't get dressed until the day they came home.  Lounging in my pj's and reading a good book was fun.

 

Mark and Marisa bought a house last year and have been working really hard to fix it up.  It's hard to believe that it is the same house I saw last November.  The bamboo hardwood floors Mark installed are gorgeous!  Marisa has a great eye for color and decorating.  Jackie and Lyn Lee seem very happy in their new home too.

 

 

 

Jessica is now a senior in high school.  Brett is a junior in high school and Kennedy is a freshman in high school.   Brett got her driver's license in April.

 

Jessica is still swimming.  She is on two teams.

Brett is still playing soccer.  She is on two teams.  This past week Julie took Brett on a tour of some east coast colleges...Princeton, Dartmouth, Boston, etc.  They were  back in New Jersey for a soccer tournament.  They also spent a couple days touring New York City.

 

On a sad note, Shelly's family had to put their beloved Shep down.  She was having heart failure and was in much pain.  They loved her deeply and she will be missed.
