March 29, 2007 We spent a couple weeks in Illinois because our siblings had surgery. Paula had a mass removed from her back and John had surgery for cancer of the esphogaus. They are both on the road to recovery. We have both returned to Arizona. When we first came back the temps were in the high 90's but today it is a lovely 72 degrees! We have been enjoying the Arizona sunshine. Lucas especially likes to go to the dog parks. Chuck discovered one that has a pond for the dogs to play in. Of course, he didn't realize that our spoiled dog isn't crazy about the water. Springer spaniels are known for their love of the water! Guess he has been a spoiled RV dog for too long. Chuck moves into his apartment on the 15th so we will probably leave here and head to California after that. We have been relaxing and visiting with friends. Yesterday we went to one of our favorite restaurants, The Fish Market, with friends Karen and Frank. Mark and Ilona will be leaving here on the first but we hope to connect up with them again in California.
