Here it is September 5th and it's the beginning of the fall season ... anyway to me! But is has been in the 100's
the last couple days. I came to Las Vegas on August 28th to dog sit with Jackie and LinLee while Mark and Marisa took
a vacation to Hawaii. It is nice to have some alone time but I will be happy to get back home to Skip and our narotic
dog, Lucas. I miss Lucas' barking. I visited the local quilt shops and bought some marterial. I put together
one quilt top and am almost finished with the second. Then I have some material to take home to work on a third.
I also made a quick visit to a casino one afternoon and made a little money. I put that into the bank today.
The kids come home late tomorrow night. Can't wait to hear about their trip and to see all of their pictures.
The dogs should go crazy when they see them.
Ryne went into the hospital today to have a biopsy on his kidney. He has been having some problems. It will
take about 3 weeks to get the results of the biopsy. He's our first grandchild and has been through a lot since his
early arrival into the world some 19 1/2 years ago. As a preemie, he spent his first 3 months in the hospital.
I will keep you updated on his health.
Skip has been fixing up the motorhome. Cleaning the roof and checking it over to make sure everything is secure,
etc. He put a new screen in the door today. Lucas keeps putting those paws on the screen when someone comes a
knocking. We are still trying to plan a short trip somewhere.
John and Linda are still waiting to go home to Florida. Waiting out all those hurricanes. I took a couple
pictures of their dogs, Scruffy and Snowball so I thought I'd show you how cute they are. May be able to get
a couple picture of John and Linda one of these days to share. Thanks to John and Linda for feeding Skip
while I've been gone.
